Girls hit modelling fast lane by becoming 'Bennetts Babes'!
Twelve wannabe models have won a nationwide search by Bennetts, the UK's number one for motorcycle insurance, to become the exclusive 'Bennetts Babes' for 2006.
They will be the Official Grid Girls at each of the 13 rounds of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship which is broadcast live on ITV1, at race circuits throughout the UK, kicking off at Brands Hatch this weekend.
Over 250 girls from across the country entered the search hoping to impress the judging panel to become one of the final 12.
Bike fans also had their say with over 1.5 million votes being cast for the girls on Bennetts' 'Babewatch' viral web campaign. The 12 girls will also feature in the official 2007 Bennetts Grid Girl calendar which is being produced by Danilo who licence calendars for stars such as Robbie Williams, Kelly Brook and Kylie Minogue. They also receive a 12 month contract with top agency DLP models.
Kal Samra, Director of Bennetts, added: "The 'Bennetts Babes' have become synonymous with our brand and will be integral to our sponsorship of the British Superbike Championship. It's also a great opportunity for the girls and I'm sure they will all be very successful as a 'Bennetts Babe'."
