Australian actress Cate Blanchett is this year's favourite to take home the Oscars 2014 'Best Actress' award, for her role in "Blue Jasmine". Amy Adams, Sandra Bullock, Judi Dench and Meryl Streep have also received nominations.

Oscars 2014: Nominees for the 'Best Actor' award
The Oscars 'Best Actor' race this year is one of the tightest ever as Matthew McConaughey, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale and Bruce Dern receive nominations. McConaughey has long been the frontrunner for the award.
